CONTACTING DAPI
People interested in contacting
DAPI can call us or send an e-mail to
info@downingtownparanormal.com.
From that initial contact, we will determine if the case
falls into our areas of interest and experience, and the
urgency of the situation. If we accept the case, we will
schedule an initial meeting.
INITIAL MEETING
Two or thee DAPI members will set
up an initial meeting to discuss the details of the
case, and establish a date for the investigation. These
meetings usually occur at an easy to find, public
location.
THE INVESTIGATION
On the scheduled date, our team
will arrive at the site. We will conduct a tour of areas
in which paranormal activity has been observed to
determine where to set up equipment and send our
investigators. Following the tour, we will set up video
and audio equipment and split into teams to cover all of
the areas planned for investigation. Teams are balanced
by the talents of the individual investigators.
EVIDENCE REVIEW
The team will review our evidence,
including video recordings, digital audio recordings,
and photographs. We also will review any notes taken to
capture personal experiences. We will put together a
summary of the evidence and notes for the Reveal.
REVEAL
At the Reveal, our team will
present the evidence to our client. When possible, we
will provide a CD with video, photographic and audio
evidence. We also will discuss the nature of the
evidence to indicate whether we believe that there is
any potential problem to residents from what we
encounter. We will discuss whether further action is
needed.
FOLLOW UP
Not all issues may be resolved
with one investigation. Ongoing investigation and
support may be needed in some circumstances.
